THE STONE - Petrified wood, a magical and earthy stone which comes from fossilised trees, in which the wood is replaced over millions of years with a mineral such as quartz or agate, which assumes the shape of the original tree.

Petrified wood has been revered since ancient times, as it is thought to contain the knowledge from the trees they were created from. This is possibly due to the reverence that trees hold within many cultures. It is a wonderful grounding stone and is thought by some to be a stone of transformation, which helps to let go of things which are no longer working in our lives.

It is also considered a good stone for past life and ancestral healing. It is a stone which welcomes the wisdom that comes with age! The stones I use are natural and therefore each pendant and bracelet set I create is unique. THE NECKLACE - The pendant is hung on an 18 inch Sterling Silver belcher chain, with bolt clasp and 925 hallmark.

I can custom the length of each necklace, so please just ask if you require an alternative size. The Stones are separated with small sterling silver beads and hand wrapped in sterling silver wire. THE BRACELET - One size fits all stretch bracelet, featuring a 10mm 925 sterling silver scratch effect focal bead and 2 small sterling silver beads.

THE PRESENTATION BOX - Each of my designs come in a Drops of Earth kraft gift box with a silver polishing cloth. A description of the stone including history and properties is included in the lid of the box.
